Why we use a harvesting machine ?

At the vineyard, we have decided to use a grape harvester for several key reasons:

• Efficiency and Speed: Mechanical harvesting allows us to pick the grapes at a much faster pace. This is particularly crucial for preserving the freshness of the grapes and harvesting them at their optimal ripeness.

• Uniform Quality: Modern grape harvesters are designed to pick grapes with great precision, ensuring a uniform quality of the harvest. This helps us maintain a high standard in our wine production.

• Adaptation to Climatic Conditions: Harvesting often needs to be done in very short time windows due to climatic conditions. The machines enable us to work more quickly and efficiently, even in unpredictable weather. This was especially true this year!

• Reduction of Physical Strain: Hand harvesting is extremely physically demanding work. Mechanization helps to reduce this strain, allowing us to focus on other essential aspects of winemaking.
